IBEW 1837 Fights Anti-Union Legislation in New Hampshire
Union members and our friends across the state of New Hampshire are working very hard to defeat the anti-union so-called "Right to Work" legislation (House Bill 821) that has been proposed in Concord. And we might win! But there is more to do before we are there.
Step 1 - If you don't feel fully informed about the issues, here is a fact sheet. Volunteers Needed to Sort Postcards The New Hampshire AFL-CIO NEEDS HELP sorting thousands more postcards from union members and their families and friends addressed to your state representatives urging them to VOTE NO on HB821. The New Hampshire AFL-CIO will deliver the post cards the day before House Legislators vote on this critical bill that is designed to weaken unions and weaken the ability of New Hampshire working families to have a voice at work.
